Ariana Stickel, PhD

Assistant Professor

Ariana Stickel, PhD, is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Neurosciences at University of California, San Diego. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology from the University of Arizona. Dr. Stickel primarily examines the impact of cardiovascular disease risk factors on brain aging and cognition. As a member of the Study of Latinos – Investigation of Neurocognitive Aging (SOL-INCA) Laboratory, her recent work has focused on characterizing risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias among Latinos.
